The manufacturer provides a warranty under the following conditions, while leaving intact, towards the seller, the rights according to Legislative Decree 02/02/2002 No. 24. Shitek Technology Srl guarantees that its products are free from quality defects.
For industrial use devices, the maximum duration of the warranty is 12 months from the date of production of the product (refer to Legislative Decree).
If new devices and related components are found to have manufacturing and/or material defects within the warranty terms applicable under national legislation, the manufacturer undertakes, at its discretion, to repair or replace the device free of charge with a newer one. For parts subject to wear and tear (such as batteries, keyboards, antennas, and housings), the warranty is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. For parts subject to wear and tear, such as batteries, using devices not configured, produced, or managed by Shitek Technology Srl in remote control mode, the warranty is not applicable under any circumstances. The warranty does not apply if the defect is caused by improper use or failure to follow the user manual.
To obtain warranty recognition, it is necessary to keep a valid fiscal document proving the date of purchase. Any conformity defects must be reported within two months of their discovery. Devices or components returned in exchange for a replacement become the property of the manufacturer.
This warranty does not cover damage or malfunctions to the device and/or accessories caused by:
- Non-compliance with usage and installation instructions.
- Non-compliance with technical and safety regulations in force in the geographic area of use.
- Damages resulting from transportation if not expressly reported in writing on the transport document.
- Poor maintenance of power sources and general electrical system.
- Accidents or consequences of theft, acts of vandalism, lightning, fire, humidity, liquid infiltration, weather conditions, acidic and/or corrosive environment.
- Association or integration with devices not provided or recommended by the manufacturer, unless expressly stated in writing (power supplies, antennas, cables, probes, connections).
- Any intervention, modification, repair carried out by unauthorized persons by the manufacturer.
- Use for a purpose other than intended.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Malfunction due to external causes (e.g., electrical disturbances caused by devices, voltage variations outside the operating limits).
- Modifications made, even if mandatory, due to changes in regulations and/or changes in network parameters (lightning strikes from transient voltage spikes).
- Shitek Technology Srl is not liable for damages caused by faulty or defective devices.
- Modification, erasure of trademarks, and serial numbers of the device.
- Non-payment of the agreed amount on the invoice.
TAll shipping expenses for the round trip of devices, for repair, inspection, and/or testing, are ALWAYS the responsibility of the customer, even if under warranty, calculated according to ANIE rates.
Goods always travel at the risk and peril of the consignee even if sold "free destination".
The warranty is always understood as "free at our headquarters".
In cases not covered by warranty, the manufacturer reserves the right to charge the customer for repair or replacement expenses.
This regulation does not change the burden of proof rules to the disadvantage of the customer under any circumstances.
